Hmmm,
My memory would have to be our small group when we made that basket for Simonka and I left a bag of like 100 tampons for you guys to put in it, and then split without any of you seeing me!

How about the I-5 Dive?

Or the driving lessons you taught me in Seattle. Commit and go.

I also remember the women's bible study when I was new to Court Street. I remember knowing that I wanted to be friends with you and Abby.

The first time I met you was while you were pregnant with Gabby and I thought you had fabulous hair. My mom was so excited for me to meet you and Ben. I know that you know how moms are :)

One of my first memories, cuase you know we have known each other for 9 crazy years???!!!!, anyway was when we went up to the comedy place in Portland, and we all rode the short bus, and you were telling us girls about your birthing story. :) So didn't want to have kids after that.

But that is just one of many that make me smile! Thanks for bringing that smile today Sharon.

Oh Sharon I have so many fun memories of you! HMMMM like when we went to Wild Waves, hanging out at your little house, me being obsessed with your scrapbook, your hair and your nails :), (I always thought you were the coolest!) Your beautiful voice, and I even remember when Ben was setting up to propose to you. For some reason Rebecca and I were there maybe we were helping him or something??? I remember thinking how lucky you were! Rebecca and I really looked up to you. And I know I have many many more memories!!!
Love you!!!

I remember needing to talk to you one night. You dropped everything and met me even though it wasn't the best time for you. It was such a meaningful, needed time for me.
I also remember hearing that you painted the exterior of your house. Now that amazed me, I wondered if there was anything Sharon couldn't do.
Many good, good memories with you and I look forward to more!

Ok Sharon, I don't know you very well and this is really the only thing I can think of. It was before I had kids, so must have been 2001 or 2002. We were playing church softball. I was up to bat and hit a grounder which your husband fielded at shortstop and threw to you at 1st. As I was running through the base, the ball tipped off of your mitt and hit me hard on the side of the head right behind my ear. It knocked me down so I got a nice strawberry on my rear end too.

My dad was there and I had to convince him that you guys were nice people and wouldn't ever let that happen on purpose!

I have to admit I've been pretty wary of the ball coming towards me while running bases ever since.

reading your blog & feeling the need to comment ... appreciating your heart for God, your love for your family, friends, and church, your meaningful, thought-out comments on other's blogs, and your willingness to share insight, humor & real-life-goodness with others.

It's been fun to get to know you!

Sharon,

I sat by you at Becca's BIG bridal shower at the church. Everyone knew each other well, and I was didn't know many at all. You made a special point to talk to me and the conversation was genuine.

I've like you very much since!

One of my first memories of you is when you greeted me in church right before service and I thought you were Perry Baker's wife. Do you remember that? You somewhat awkwardly told me that you were the pastor's wife. Other early mememories are all around softball games. Remember when I got in a fight with the pitcher on the other team??? Or maybe she got in a fight with me.??

I am not very good with details. All I know is that I have had the blessing of sharing 11 great years with you, and too many memories to remember. Thank you for each one of them.

My favorite most recent memory of you takes place at the worship team bbq. After hearing Ben rap and playingsome volleyball. It was cool seeing you snug between your girls and watching your girls snuggle close to you on the patio swing near the camp fire. I remember recognizing how obvious it was that your girls simply adore you. I hope my kids still adore me when they are that age. Thats my fave memory of you :)

Sharon,
The minute I read memory this popped into my head: G cuded or G squared...I don't remember. You lead the girls choir. I think I was in early high school. You were so patient and kind...we really were not good! he he. I also remember there was a night Becca and I were at your house off of Hollywood st. Gabby was just a baby and it was hot! We sat around and talked about boys and all that good stuff! What fun to walk down memory lane!
