Having trouble thinking of something fun to do this July 4th? Why not take a little trek up to Washington for the Fort Vancouver Firework Show!
I'm very excited to be able to sing background vocals for a fun band during the pre-firework festivities this year! I just returned from my last rehearsal before the big show. The musicians in this band are all professionals who have played with all the big names out there. The guitarist, in fact, flies down to the Jay Leno show periodically to fill in when needed. The bass player is from the 80's group Nu Shooz, and Tommy Tutone will sing a few of his songs that I'll get to back-up, too!
It's tons of fun, especially since I'm just singing the back-up parts, so there's no pressure on me!
Our set will be from 6:55-8:15pm, then there's one more band before the biggest firework show this side of the Mississippi!
So if you're looking for something fun and different, come on up and shake your groove thang!

Oh.My.Gosh. What are you going to wear? May all black and discreet but sexy or you could go festive with red, white and blue. Maybe some glitter on your face and some sparkly antenna headband. Oh no. Wait. I've got it. How about a red and white striped vest that lights up. So cool!
How exciting I wish we could go I have actually talked to Adam about making Vancouver tradition I went up once and had so much fun but it just gets to hecktic with the little ones maybe when they are older. You are awesome though how cool is it that your girls get to see their mom sing back up on the big stage! I'm sure your hubby is excited too! Go Sharon!

Darren and I would go when we were dating and after we got married, then those little ones came along,and we haven't made it back.
