You know, I think she really does look older. The hoop earrings help, too. ;) Braces can be a pain (literally), but the end result is so great!
Hopefully she won't have to wear them long!

This post is so great because we just took my 8 year old daughter, Sarah, to the dentist, and he gave us the referral to the orthodontist! She has major crowding issues and braces are in her near future! She was not happy when she heard that. I tried to tell her how cool they are, and how I wanted them so badly when I was in middle-school. But....Last night I showed her these pictures of your "cool" daughter, and her whole demeaner changed! She said, "I guess they do look kinda cute"
