HaHa! That's what my Ben said about Bette Midler - She can't sing anymore! Too funny.
Also, LOVED the African Children's Choir! I think that was the highlight of the evening.
Sorry Blake didn't win but you know he'll get a record deal anyway.
Cons: We missed the announcement part because the DVR messed up so after two hours watching, I had to look the result up online.
Blake didn't win.
Pros: Blake is an awesome beat boxer-even though I'm not a rap fan-I can appreciate his talent.
I agree with your pro of being free of tv schedules for the summer!

I fell asleep. I knew Jordin would win and I had subbed at the Middle School the previous two days so I was too tired. We did tape it so I may get to it. I am reading a couple of great books right now. One is called French Lessons. It is by the author who wrote A Year In Provence. All about the ways of the French. Very light, funny and entertaining. A recommended reading if you need a good book. T.V. don't have much use for it. I do like AI and Survivor.
I thought of you immediately after Jordon won. I'm so sorry. I know you really had vested interest. But God is still on the throne!
